18 Oct 2021 - A Note to our Prospective Audience for 6th November Autumn Concert

We look forward to welcoming our audience at our Autumn Concert.  Please note that we are bound by the Covid rules of our concert venue.  Please help by wearing a mask upon arrival at the Entrance Desk when you show your ticket or invoice (showing number of tickets bought online).  Please also read the noticeboard by the desk for any other notices on the night.  There will be a 20-minute interval but no refreshments provided as no refreshment (apart from a bottle of water) is allowed to be consumed inside the concert hall.

08 Oct 2021 - Autumn Concert - 6th November 2021

The Autumn Concert on 6th November will take place in the Nye Hall, Duke of York's Royal Military School in Dover (Postcode for SatNav CT15 5EQ).  Online tickets are now available to purchase for this concert.  The programme is Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Stravinsky's Symphonies of Wind Instruments, Elgar's Cello Concerto and Dvorak's Symphony No. 8.  The Cello Soloist is Molly Parsons-Gurr, who comes from Folkestone.  Please come along to support Molly and the orchestra.  


08 Jun 2021 - Our Conductor, Rupert Bond, works with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra in Czech Republic

Please see our Conductor, Rupert Bond, in action with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra.  The Czech text translates as follows:-

The British conductor, composer, double bass player and pedagogue in one person, Rupert Bond, is currently recording a series of 7 compositions by the New Zealand composer Eric Biddington in the Reduta concert hall with the Moravian Philharmonic in Olomouc. The recording will be distributed in New Zealand and Australia.

13 Mar 2021 - New website with ticket sales.

You can now see our upcoming performances and can purchase tickets for 6th November Concert.  Upon purchasing ticket(s), the buyer will be sent an invoice.  This acts as your ticket(s) for the concert,  Please be sure to either print it out or be able to show it on a phone/tablet at the Entrance Desk to the concert.

As each performance is held we will add photographs and performance reviews.
