Please see our Conductor, Rupert Bond, in action with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra.  The Czech text translates as follows:-

The British conductor, composer, double bass player and pedagogue in one person, Rupert Bond, is currently recording a series of 7 compositions by the New Zealand composer Eric Biddington in the Reduta concert hall with the Moravian Philharmonic in Olomouc. The recording will be distributed in New Zealand and Australia.

08 Jun 2021 - Getting Back Together following the Pandemic Restrictions.

From 17th May, the orchestra met for sectional rehearsals in person at Three Hills Sports Centre, Folkestone.  From mid- June we met as a Full Orchestra.  Our members enjoyed working on Brahms Academic Festival Overture, Beethoven Symphony No. 1 and Warlock's Capriol Suite.  It is wonderful to play together after over a year of being in isolation.  We start work on our Autumn programme from 6th September and are planning for our concert in November.  See our "Forthcoming Concerts" page for details of our performances.
